Community Rules

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Your Muse account works in every Muse app: Muse Shelf, Muse Penguin, Frog Quest and the rest. When you choose an @handle, you agree to these rules. They apply to your handle, name, bio, avatar, anything you share, and how you treat other people.

1. Be kind

No bullying, harassment, hate or threats, toward anyone, for any reason.

2. Keep it clean

No sexual content, and nothing that sexualizes or endangers minors, ever.

3. Be real

Don't pretend to be someone else, and no spam, scams or misleading links.

4. Keep it private

Don't share anyone's personal information, including your own address or phone number.

There's no place here for objectionable content or abuse

Muse filters words that aren't allowed in handles, names and bios. If someone breaks these rules, you can block them, which hides you from each other everywhere and ends any friendship, or report them from their profile. Muse reviews every report within a day, and may hide a profile or remove an account that breaks these rules.

Your choices

Profiles start friends-only, and your library stays private unless you choose to share it. You can change both whenever you like, and you can stop using friends at any time.

Contact

To reach Muse about a person or something you saw, use Report on their profile, send feedback from Settings › Feedback in Muse Shelf, or open a support request. Support requests are public, so please don't include passwords, sign-in codes or private details there.
